The Kansas Literacy Coalition is a diverse alliance of organizations, educators, advocates, parents, and community leaders united by a shared commitment to advancing literacy and strengthening public education across our state. Representing voices from K–12 and higher education, state agencies, nonprofits, and families, we work collaboratively to ensure that every Kansas learner has equitable access to high-quality, evidence-based literacy instruction. Our coalition is grounded in the belief that literacy is a fundamental right, and we are dedicated to closing opportunity gaps and dismantling systemic barriers that prevent all students—regardless of race, background, or ability—from reaching their full potential as readers and learners.
